Along a high ridge in Laguna Beach lies the Top of the World, a neighborhood named for it’s amazing views to the Pacific on one side, and the Saddleback Valley on the other. Originally developed in the mid ’60s, the area is dotted with mid-century homes in need of a modern makeover. Such was the case with this family’s home.

Our challenge was to expand the small, funky little house into a home and garden area that could support a growing family, and the many outdoor activities they loved to enjoy. The transformation created a whole new living environment for the family. Colorful and vibrant, ready for the excitement of living at the beach, from their special perch on the Top of the World.
